Selected installations

 A Great Miracle Happened Here - Baltimore,MD. Indoor mural: 10 ft. x  42 ft. acrylic, canvas cut-outs on canvas mounted on 17 irregular sections. An icon of Baltimore Jewish history commissioned by the JCC of Greater Baltimore for their new lobby. Workshops: 150 participants from 8 to 102 years old.   

The Creation Mural - Owings Mills, MD  Indoor mural: 1000 sq. ft., acrylic on prepared interior drywall. A re—interpretation of the bibilical theme of creation. For the 1st International JCC Maccabi Artsfest, Baltimore, MD. Links the cafe area and the health center at the JCC. Took 3.5 days from conception to completion. Workshops/ Paint team: 52 participants including 40 teen artists from around the world, plus adult volunteers.   

Maccabi ArtsFest  Aug 2010  Baltimore, MD 2010. In 3.5 days, Jay led 24 teens from across the USA -  ages 13 -17 - designing, painting, and installing 2 works:  People of the Land - Jewish Environmentalism.    3  panels 16 ft. x 5 ft. , 'parachute cloth' on prepared brick wall. Based on readings from Tanach,  Perek Shirah ,  and contemporary environmental blogs. The Performance Panels - 5 ruah panels, 16 ft. x 5 ft.  based on the Book of Psalms, about youth, Judaism,  Baltimore, and the arts.  Panels were backdrops for the music and dance performances and are now permanently installed at the JCC.
