The PJCC Grow Justice Mural Installation - Peninsula JCC, Foster City, CA. Planning began in January of 2013, workshops were held for a week during July 2013, and installation took place over a 15 day period in October 2013. Over 750 participants. Partners included Rebuilding thru Art Project, Inc. (RAP), The Peninsula JCC and it's members, Taube Philanthropies, lead ceramicist E. Blaise DePaolo and several of her students at Morgan State University Department of Fine and Performing Arts in Baltimore, MD.
Outdoor mural: 1800 sq. ft. includes a wall 130 ft x 12 ft, plus eight palm tree planters. Acrylic paint and ceramics on cement. The work was commissioned to transform, beautify and sanctify a large exterior space which included The Justice Garden. The mural is a representation of a core Jewish belief that people must do what they can to make the world a better place. Themes were based on four Jewish concepts of justice/dignity - Environmental Stewardship, Human Rights and Dignity, Economic Justice, Food Justice.
